Miss Raja Rajeshwari, 43, Became New York's first Indian-born American to be appointed as a criminal court judge.



Ms. Rajeshwari migrated to United States When she was 16. She took the oath with 27 other judges and all of them are sworn in by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
